Danzano sullo sfondo le note di una bella canzone, molto soft, ideale per un piacevole risveglio al divenire del giorno.
Penso a quei momenti trascorsi a riempire il mio zaino - adorato zaino- con tutto ciò che non deve mancare in un viaggiatore alle prime armi: una montagna di roba sulle spalle che fa assomigliare il viaggio di piacere a un viaggio della disperazione, ma in fondo lo spirito è proprio questo, quello di un apolide in cerca di un tetto e di un cuore nel quale albergare.
Il viaggio come scoperta. Scoperta di sè e del mondo. Il mondo è quello che crediamo esso sia. La realtà cerca di affiorare da sotto il velo di pregiudizi che costruiamo. Un viaggio non ai margini, ma dentro i costumi e il quotidiano, è quello che mi prefiggo ogni volta che prendo una mappa e punto il dito verso una destinazione qualsiasi.

‘Well i bet if u ask 10,000,000 people in china, 9,999,999 of them will tell u they dont know who Chen Guangcheng is, just like they dont know any civil rights activists. why? because there arent really many civil rights in china so people simply dont care.
cuz of lack of beliefs, people do things for money but not for what they think is right, and i can assure u that ‘baby-eating’ as your premier Berusconi(or something like that) said was right, it does happen in southern china, mostly in Guangdong province, i think.
since our media are state-run media, so ordinary people just dont know about things we ‘ought to know’ but gov’t doesnt want us to know.

about Chen’s case, i think there wont be many differences until the int’l community put enough pressure on the chinese gov’t, but we can see no movements. usually before our communist leaders are going to visit other countries like the US, the gov’t will release some activists in order to get ‘a good reputation’ and to make his visit successful.

anyway, chinese gov’t always alleges that we dont need foreigners to interfere our domestic affairs, and that sovereignty is more important than human rights, however, i hold the opposite attitude.

i think the most important thing is to make chinese people aware that our rights have been violated, only when it touches u do u realise their importance, right?

i’m a native chinese, just graduated from high school, and have never been out of my province (lol, though my province is probably as big as italy), but i’ll probably go to Russia for university in September.
